Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am currently 18 years old. I suffered from diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach pain for ten days. I took the antibiotic Taxim O 200 mg and capsule VSL-3 for seven days. Now, my diarrhea and vomiting are under control, but I have severe right-side abdominal pain that worsens after eating. I had blood tests done, which showed that my vitamin D level is 8.56. I also had a whole abdomen ultrasound, which revealed mural thickening up to 18 mm involving the cecum and right iliac fossa, showing echogenic fat surrounding minimal fluid. I had a laparoscopic appendectomy nearly 1.5 years ago. I also suffer from body pain and weakness. Please suggest a treatment.
Kindly help.
