Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your answer.

I had dysmenorrhea with loose bowel movement (LBM).

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com,

In ultrasonography (attachment removed for patient identity protection) the following findings are seen.

  1. Four myomas, also known as fibroids, exist in different uterus locations.
  2. There is a 1.7-centimeter thickening of the endometrium.

Uterine myoma or fibroid is a benign tumor, whereas endometrial hyperplasia is the increase in the number of endometrial cells, causing the thickening of the endometrium lining the uterine cavity. The thickness of the endometrium needs further evaluation to rule out whether it is benign or malignant hyperplasia.

Endometrial aspiration cytology (EAC) should be done to look at features of endometrial cells under a microscope to suggest whether it is benign or malignant thickening.

Further tests, if needed, would follow after endometrial aspiration cytology. Do not worry; proactively visit a nearby gynecologist doctor for medical advice.

Thank you.
