Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
As an intersex man, I experienced poisoning for seven years, leading to the loss of ejaculation and ongoing gastrointestinal issues, that began within four hours of the incident. Is it possible to undergo testing for the poisoning at this point, considering the time elapsed? Additionally, could the poisoning have involved heavy metals? Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
While heavy metal poisoning may decrease sperm quality, it typically does not affect ejaculation. Heavy metals can harm gastrointestinal tissues, but their toxic effects usually diminish within a month as the body eliminates them within a week.
If you are still concerned, consider having your blood tested for heavy metal levels at a nearby biochemical laboratory.
Regarding gastrointestinal issues: Once intestinal tissues are damaged, continuing unhealthy eating habits can exacerbate the condition. Opt for healing foods like yogurt and pumpkin while avoiding spicy, oily, and processed foods, as they can worsen symptoms. It is unlikely that your current issues stem from past poisoning.
Ejaculation failure can result from various factors including certain medications, high-fat diets, past lower back or abdominal trauma, anxiety, or other psychological stressors. Consulting an andrologist, urologist, sexologist, or psychologist can help determine the exact cause. Additionally, hormonal imbalances may contribute, so a comprehensive health check-up is advisable to pinpoint the underlying issue.
I hope this information will help you.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
I suspect poisoning because I was given food by individuals with ill intentions. Within three to four hours of consuming the food, I experienced severe heartburn and a loss of ejaculatory function. While I understand you can not confirm anything, I am seeking insight into potential causes and available treatments. This concern persists as I have experienced these symptoms since the incident seven years ago. Is it still feasible to test for poisoning after all this time?
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hi doctor,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
If the poisoning incident five years ago involved a high dose, the resulting damage may persist to this day. Chronic poisoning can lead to anatomical damage, potentially manifesting in gastric symptoms. However, ejaculatory failure typically stems from functional issues rather than poisoning-related damage. Various factors can contribute to this condition. It is important to differentiate between gastric and ejaculatory issues. To address concerns, it may be beneficial to check blood-heavy metal levels.
Thank you.
