Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having a discoloration in the urine. Whenever I am not drinking enough water my urine is turning white in color. There is no associated abdominal pain. Is there any problem with this condition?

Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query. I would like to know a few more details too. Do you have any burning sensation while passing urine? Do you notice an increase in your complaints after a heavy meal? Have you ever had blood in the urine or any milky clots passing in urine? Passing cloudy/milky urine can be due to several conditions. Most commonly it is either due to some infection or due to excessive phosphate salts in urine. But can also be due to lymph in urine which needs to be evaluated. I would suggest a detailed clinical examination by a urologist with some basic urine analysis and ultrasound evaluation of the kidneys and bladder to identify the cause of the cloudy urine which then be treated appropriately.

I hope you found this helpful. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
