Is it safe to take medications to stop periods?

Hello doctor,

I have been on Cocaine for a few months now; after 21 tablets, I stopped and started a new strip of Freedase 30 on the day of my period. I finished my 21 tablets and immediately started a new strip of Freedase to avoid the period because if I stopped taking the tablet as usual, I would have my period around May. I am now on the second strip. But I saw a little tiny. If I stop the strip now, will I start my period right away? Or should I continue with Cocaine to the end? It is a holy function where I cannot take the risk of a period chance as I will not be able to attend.

For starters, once Cocaine is started, it should not be discontinued in the middle of the cycle because this defeats the objective, and your withdrawal bleed could begin at any moment within the next five days. Furthermore, the bleeding may be protracted and heavy; therefore, it is unlikely that it will be similar to your regular menstrual cycle. So, it is preferable to continue the pills, and if your pack runs out a few days before your preferred date, you should take Progesterone pills such as Medroxyprogesterone acetate twice a day 10 mg for the next 10 to 15 days to avoid bleeding throughout your program. Once you stop using the pills, you will experience withdrawal symptoms within three to five days. However, this regimen may differ from woman to woman.
