How can one get rid of hyperpigmentation?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have hyperpigmentation on the face and a dark spot on the right side of the cheek. I have no health issues like PCOD or thyroid.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms and pictures sent, I believe you have developed a hyperpigmented skin patch on your face possibly due to endocrine disorder or cosmetic changes. I would advise using topical 0.2 percent Tacrolimus cream or topical ointment 0.05 percent Clobetasol or 0.2 percent Hydrocortisone cream twice a day for one month. If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Take care.

Thank you.
