Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had a serious hyperpigmentation problem. I have been using Aziderm cream and skin lite cream (under a doctor's supervision)for months now, but I can not see much difference in my skin. The skin tone of my face and neck area is very dark whereas in other areas it is fair and the difference is visible to other people, this problem is bringing down my self-confidence. Kindly suggest me better treatment, which can act fast because I have a very important thing coming up in a month.
Please help me.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thanks for the query.
Skin tanning is a side effect of excessive sunlight exposure. I suggest treatment and precautions, kindly follow that.
Avoid direct sunlight exposure as much as you can.
Wear sunglass, and caps and cover the exposed part of the body all the time.
Use sunscreen thrice a day at around 10 o'clock, 12, and 3 o'clock all over the face.
Sunscreen should be applied when you go out on a sunny day.
Use anti-pigmentation cream over pigmented parts like kojic acid (a substance with the chemical formula HOCH 2C 5H 2O 2OH), and hydroquinone (Quinol, also known as benzene-1,4-diol, is an aromatic chemical compound).
If tanning is deep and too much then the ideal treatment is glycolic acid peels, sittings of 6-8 peels must be required.
Never stop sunscreen even if tanning goes off.
Hope I have clarified your query.
Thanks and regards.
