Junctional Nevus

Junctional nevus occurs as a mole between the two layers of the skin. It causes small brown macules on the skin. These are acquired lesions, and they change to compound nevus on aging. Small nevus is treated by surgical excision. Large ones need a replacement of the excised skin with skin graft.
