Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a left eye problem named macula and also have problems with seeing, which is making the right eye uncomfortable. I am also taking Nepac and Moxigan medications. What could it be?
Kindly suggest.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
You may have a macular issue in your left eye, which is affecting your vision and possibly causing strain or discomfort in your right eye. The macula, responsible for central vision, can be affected by conditions like macular degeneration (progressive central vision loss, affects the retina), edema, or a macular hole, leading to blurry, distorted, or darkened vision. I recommend following up with an ophthalmologist for a fundoscopy to assess your retina and rule out underlying conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes.
I hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any other concerns.
Thank you.
