Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I received a callback after a screening mammogram. I am 65 years old with no history of breast cancer or a family history of breast cancer. Eight years ago, I had a recall for sclerosing adenosis in the right breast, which was benign. Recently, the mammogram found architectural distortion on the MLO (mediolateral oblique) view of the left breast in the upper middle depth.
I am recalled for additional views of the left breast and ultrasound, only if necessary. What are my odds of developing breast cancer?
Please give me your opinion.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
There is no information on the screening mammogram regarding lymph node enlargement, nor is there any mention of calcifications.
Thank you.
