Methotrexate lung is a special type of drug-induced lung disease. It occurs due to the administration of Methotrexate, a chemotherapeutic and immunosuppressant drug. It is often given alone or with other chemotherapeutic agents to treat malignancies like lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancer. The symptoms are shortness of breath, cough, and fever. Hypoxemia with tachypnea is seen. There is no treatment for this condition.
