Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

A missed period is, in medical terms, called amenorrhea. Amenorrhea is the absence or abnormal cessation of the menses. It has 2 types: physiological and pathological.

In your case, you have physiological amenorrhea. Here are some causes of physiological amenorrhea -

  • Pregnancy.

  • Contraceptive pill intake.

  • Hormonal changes.

  • Stress and lifestyle-related.

Amenorrhea is the most common condition in females of reproductive age. If you have no unprotected sex history or contraceptive pill intake history, then this is most probably because of hormonal changes.

Hormonal changes in the body occur because of some physiological changes in the body, which are caused by external factors like a sedentary lifestyle or some dietary or food changes.

So, do not worry too much about it, just relax. If you do not have any of these, then please raise a follow-up query with all the other complete symptoms. I will prescribe you medicines.

I hope this helps.

Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.

Thank you.
