Neck Collar

Neck or cervical collars are not only meant to support the neck but also the cervical spinal cord and the head. They are used in neck pain and post neck surgery or injury. They are only meant for short-term use until complete recovery. Long-term usage can cause stiffening and widening of the neck muscles. They are usually made of foam, felt, rubber, plexiglass, and plastic.
