Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Which tablet should I consume to postpone my periods?

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Sangeeta Milap

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Are you married? Do you have children?

For how long do you want to postpone your periods? You are too close to your period date. Medicines may or may not work to postpone your periods. But have you ever had an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis done?

Kindly update us with the above answers.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Yes, doctor, I am married and I have kids. I would like to postpone my period for a few days. I do not have hypertension or diabetes. Both my deliveries were normal. Every month I get my period five days prior. No ultrasound has been done.

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Sangeeta Milap

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I suggest you take a tablet of Primolut N (Norethisterone) twice a day and take it for seven days and stop. When you stop after four to five days, you will get your periods.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.

Hello doctor,

Is there a chance of pregnancy if I do not take contraceptive pills in these days?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, it can be a chance. It will not give a 100 percent protection. But will postpone your periods. So be cautious.

Thanks and regards.
