Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had pain in my right side for probably just over a year now. It stays in my groin or hip area, and it gets so uncomfortable that sometimes I cannot lie down on it or put pressure. I have been to the hospital and they all say that there is nothing wrong. It is not my appendix. What could it be?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry we are here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I do not think it is appendix because of the duration of the symptoms. I believe you have developed subacute salpingitis (an inflammatory condition affecting the fallopian tubes) or a right ovarian cyst. Please repeat an abdominal scan if it is done previously and reply to me with the result. Meanwhile please kindly take the following-
Two capsules of Co-Amoxiclav 625 mg orally, twice a day for a week.
Two tablet of Metronidazole 400 mg orally, twice a day for a week,
Two tablets of Celecoxib 200 mg orally, twice a day for a week.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Regards.
Thank you.
