Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My son-in-law is 35 years old and is suffering from psoriasis. Is there any cure?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com
I have seen your query and concern. With your descriptions, it seems your son-in-law has psoriasis. Psoriasis is a chronic genetically influenced immunologically based inflammatory disease of skin and joints. Factors that aggravate psoriasis include stress, alcohol, smoking, trauma, sun, oral corticosteroids, beta-blockers, lithium, drugs used to treat malaria, painkillers, etc. There are lots of treatments available for psoriasis.
But I would suggest before concluding it psoriasis must go for a skin biopsy for confirmation.
I hope this helps.
