What should I do if my partner is a borderline psychopath?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been in a relationship with a guy for two years. We are planning to get married. But now he claims I should know everything before marriage, and he says he is a borderline psychopath. His father was a psychopath. Now I am scared, and I do not know whether he is a psychopath or this is his fear. I love him, but I am scared to get married. What should I do?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Did you feel through his behavior, mood, and other day-to-day activities in the past two years that he is not stable? You discuss with him in detail what are the wrong things with him. You can also ask him to accompany himself to a psychiatrist and discuss this in detail.

I hope this information will help.
