Is compounded Semaglutide safe and effective?

Hi doctor,

I am considering starting compounded Semaglutide because my doctor said it could be an alternative to brand-name versions. However, I have read online that compounded medications are not FDA-approved the same way as commercial drugs. How can I be sure that I am getting pure and adequately dosed medication? Are there risks of contamination or inconsistent potency? I have also heard that some pharmacies might mix it with other ingredients. How do I know if what I am getting is safe and effective? Has anyone been on compounded Semaglutide for months and had good long-term results without issues? I do not want to take something unreliable.
