Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had left testicle pain that comes on and off. I have had it for years now. I have consulted an allergist and our family doctor as well. They put me on Ciprofloxacin about four times now and it has come back every year. I wonder what is going on because I have also had an ultrasound of my testicles that revealed left-sided swelling. Before this, there was nothing to be concerned about. I do suffer from anxiety but I do not see how this could become an issue. I also had issues sexually with ejaculation coming out sometimes. But it sometimes comes out clunky while urinating. It feels like there is a blockage left. Kindly give me some answers it would be much appreciated. I am also on Lisinopril for blood pressure. I take Celexa half a pill at night and I am also on a new medication Bupropion XL. I have known that Celexa causes sexual side effects.
Kindly suggest.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Testicular pain is quite common in young adults. Idiopathic orchalgia is due to the pull of cremaster muscles more active in the young. Use scrotal support. If pain is severe I suggest you take a tablet of Pregabalin 75 at bedtime. There is no need for antibiotics. For a sense of incomplete voiding, I would like to see ultrasound KUB (kidneys, ureters, and urinary bladder) with post-void residue ultrasound. Take a tablet of Tolterodine 2mg and tablet Tamsulosin 0.2 mg at bedtime for 10 days then get back. Psyllium husk 3 tsp HS with two glasses of water over it. Perform moolbandh.
Thank you.
