I am wondering about my son’s type 1 diabetes. He has been on Insulin since he was seven, and it has been a daily routine for us. I recently heard about some new treatments that are coming up. Do you think any of those could help him someday?
I mean, I know Insulin is crucial for him now, but is there a chance he could ever get off it? It is tough watching him go through this every day, and we are always on high alert with his blood sugar levels. I hope there is some way that his life could be a bit easier in the future.
