Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I would like to explain my situation and seek your advice. I was initially diagnosed with typhoid and completed the prescribed treatment while hospitalized. Afterward, I was informed that I also had an ulcer and was prescribed amoxicillin, omeprazole, and clarithromycin. I took the medication but stopped after five days because I was feeling better.
About two weeks later, I began experiencing stomach pain again. I went to a laboratory and was told that I still had an ulcer and H. pylori. I was then prescribed another course of medication: amoxicillin, Nexium, and Rifabon, which I completed for 10 days. After that, the pharmacist advised me to continue with Rabeprazole for three months and Unienzyme for a few days.
However, I am still experiencing stomach pain and uncomfortable sensations. I am currently taking the third medication (Rabeprazole and Unienzyme), but the symptoms persist. I would appreciate your guidance on what steps I should take next.
Please help.
Thank you for your guidance.
