How to manage severe vaginal pain and heavy discharge?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a strong pain in my vagina. It is not a deep pain but on the inside of the opening. The pain is unbearable during intercourse or when I apply pressure. My discharge has also increased heavily, but no unusual odor, bleeding, rash, itch, or burning. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

It seems the issue is due to friction-related injuries during intercourse, followed by an infection and dryness. To aid in recovery, please follow these instructions:

  1. Avoid all sexual activities, including masturbation, for the next few weeks to allow complete healing.
  2. Clean the vaginal area regularly with a vaginal wash.
  3. Insert one Clingen vaginal tablet inside the vagina once daily for 3 days.
  4. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
  5. Medications:

Take a tablet of Fluconazole 150 mg once per day for three days.

Take capsules Doxycycline and Lactobacillus twice a day on the first day, one capsule per day starting from the second day onward for a total of seven days.

Tablet Zerodol SP (Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase): Take one tablet as needed for pain relief (SOS).

Please follow this regimen for seven days. I would like to receive a follow-up from you after three days to assess your progress.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
