Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am having this unfamiliar scent, but not that strong, no irritation, the discharge is creamy white, but mostly after menstruation, the smell is a bit stronger.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to iCliniq.com.
Your concerns are noted. A mild vaginal odour together with cream-like white discharge after periods may be a sign of normal hormonal fluctuations associated with the menstrual cycle.
Following menstruation, there is a temporary alteration in vaginal pH due to leftover blood that may result in increased odour for a few days, even in the absence of any infection.
Absence of symptoms such as itching, burning, pain, or irritation is a good sign, indicating that you do not suffer from infections such as yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis. Normal vaginal discharge usually looks creamy or white in colour with a slight odour.
However, if you experience the following symptoms, kindly reach out to me, and I can recommend the required treatment:

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
