Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a white substance in the creases near my clitoris. It is not visible until you lift the clit hood, and it does not hurt. At one point in time, I found little hairs from clippings stabbed into my clitoris that I had not noticed for a while. When I took them out, it hurt really bad, and I treated it. But the creases still have that white stuff and it has been a while ago. What is this? What is wrong with me? Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
It would be better if you would send me your detailed history of medical, gynecological, obstetric, surgical, and drug history, along with a picture of the lesion, as well. You are in the reproductive developmental phase of your life, so, still, things and systems are under development. It is better to have some healthy precautions, investigations, and then treatment accordingly. I suggest you the following:
Maintain strict hygiene.
Use condoms to reduce sexually transmitted infections.
Have a soft blade to remove hair, and try to avoid cosmetic products in the local area.
Have one vaginal swab and a local lesion swab to check in the laboratory. Most likely, it is candidiasis.
You can sit in mildly warm water to reduce irritation and pain.
Have one Canesten pessary per vaginal on two alternate nights that will wash out the infection if it is there.
Have a complete check-up and treatment of any health issue you have.
Have recreational activities and try to avoid recreational drugs.
It would be better if you have one local examination by a specialist if symptoms remain after precautions.
Collect HVS (high vaginal swab) report and discuss it here or with a local gynecologist doctor.
I hope this information helps you.
Revert in case of queries.
Regards.
