Baclofen belongs to a group of drugs called skeletal muscle relaxants. It helps in treating the spasm of muscles, muscle clonus, rigidity, and pain caused due to multiple sclerosis. It is injected into the spinal cord to treat spasticity, spinal cord injuries, and other spinal cord diseases. Dizziness, weakness, headache, and nausea are some side effects seen.
