Medical Conditions - Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer involves abnormal malignant tumors of the urinary bladder. The most common type of bladder cancer is urothelial carcinoma, where the transitional epithelial cells that line the inside of the urinary bladder grow out of control in numbers. Bladder cancer can be invasive, where it spreads to the adjacent layers of cells, or noninvasive, where it remains contained in the innermost layer alone.
