Medical Conditions - Blepharitis

Inflammation of the part of the eyelids where the eyelashes grow is called blepharitis. The symptoms include red, swollen, greasy, and itchy eyelids, watery eyes, red eyes, sensitivity to light, and loss of eyelashes. It can be caused by seborrheic dermatitis, bacterial infection, rosacea, allergy, and eyelash lice.
