Bone tuberculosis is when tuberculosis travel through the blood from the lungs into the bones, spine, or joints. It is relatively a rare condition which can lead to severe complications when left untreated. The symptoms of bone tuberculosis include severe back pain, swelling and stiffness. In many cases spinal surgery may be required.
