Medical Conditions - Brain Aneurysm

A weak spot inside the blood vessel wall in the brain results in a brain aneurysm. This can form a bulge or ballooning inside the blood vessel when the blood fills in the weak spot. It is also known as subarachnoid hemorrhage. It can rupture and result in life-threatening bleeding. Treatment for an unruptured aneurysm includes medications to reduce blood pressure and procedures to prevent rupture.
