Medical Conditions - Chronic Renal Failure

Chronic renal failure is also called chronic kidney disease. Here there is a decrease in kidney functioning to filter waste and fluid from the blood. Diabetes and hypertension are also the main risk factors for chronic renal failure. The symptoms noticed are weight loss, poor appetite, shortness of breath, swelling in the ankles, feet, or hands, and blood in the pee. Treatment is given based on the severity. Lifestyle changes might help. In later stages, the patient may require a kidney transplant or dialysis.
