Covishield is a vaccine against COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019), also known as the AstraZeneca vaccine. It is given intramuscularly. The gap between two doses of this vaccine is 12 to 16 weeks in adults. The common side effects are pain at the injected site, headache, tiredness, fever, and muscle ache.
