A fibroma is a benign tumor made up of fibrous tissue. It can occur anywhere in the body. The common types of fibroma are angiofibroma, dermatofibroma, oral fibroma, and plantar fibroma. Angiofibroma commonly occurs on the nose and cheeks. Plantar fibromas occur in the foot. Fibromas are commonly treated with surgery.
