Glioblastoma is a type of cancer that develops in the astrocytes of the brain and spinal cord. Astrocytes are the most numerous types of cells in the nervous system that support the nerve cells. They are aggressive and occur at any age, but most commonly in older adults. They show signs like headaches, nausea, vomiting, and seizures.
