Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) drug used during pain, fever, and inflammation. It is used to treat mild to moderate pain caused by conditions like headaches, arthritis, toothache, muscle sprain, menstrual cramps, etc. It is also used for patent ductus arteriosus, which a condition caused when the ductus arteriosus fails to close at birth.
