Medical Conditions - Impetigo

Impetigo is a contagious skin infection caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The face, arms, and legs are commonly affected by red skin sores, which grow as blisters and bursts, forming a yellowish crust. They cause itchiness, and sometimes it is painful. Antibiotics (Mupirocin) help to treat impetigo.
