Medical Conditions - Knock Knees

Knock-knees, known as genu valgum, is a condition in which the knees bend inwards and knock against each other, but the ankles are apart. Causes of knock-knees are knee injury or illness, bone infection (osteomyelitis), obesity, metabolic disease, renal failure, arthritis, and rickets. It is commonly seen in children. Treatment involves support braces for guided growth and physical therapy.
