Medical Conditions - Leptin

Leptin is a hormone released by adipose cells (body fat) to help maintain the average body weight long-term. This is achieved through regulating hunger by providing the feeling of satiety or feeling full. Leptin levels can be controlled by eating enough fiber, proteins, and complex carbohydrates, taking omega-3, performing high-intensity interval training, and getting proper sleep.
