Lisinopril is an antihypertensive medication that is also used in heart failure. It belongs to the angiotensin-converting enzyme drug group. It improves the survival rates in heart attack patients and prevents future stroke. It is also used in slowing down diabetic kidney disease. Lisinopril can cause dry cough, headache, lightheadedness, dizziness, blurry vision, itching, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. Prinivil and Zestril are common brands.
