Medical Conditions - Malabsorption Syndrome

Malabsorption syndrome occurs when the small intestine is unable to absorb essential vitamins from the bloodstream in the body. It often occurs due to inflammation, trauma, infection, increased use of antibiotics, celiac disease, and Crohn's disease. The symptoms of malabsorption syndrome are diarrhea, bloating, flatulence, weight loss, and cramping. In untreated cases, it leads to the development of greater infections in the body and osteoporosis. Changes in diet treat it. Taking vitamin supplements and enzyme supplements helps a lot.
