Marsupialization is a surgical technique done to remove cysts. In this procedure, the cysts are opened and drained. After this, the edges are sutured to form a permanent pouch or pocket, making the fluid drain easily. It is used for treating Bartholin's cyst, Gartner's cyst, pancreatic cysts, and pilonidal cysts.
