The affected person cannot be waked up for a prolonged period. It causes disturbances in their daily works. The symptoms of narcolepsy are cataplexy, hallucination, excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep paralysis, and sleep disturbance. Taking stimulants and antidepressants helps to manage it.
