Medical Conditions - Pilonidal Cyst

A pilonidal cyst is an unusual sac in the skin that holds hair follicles and skin debris, which most commonly occurs at the beginning of the buttocks cleft. It is highly prevalent in young men and those who sit for long hours and have an increased recurrence rate. Pain, redness, pus discharge with a foul smell are the symptoms of a pilonidal cyst. Incision and drainage or surgical removal is the suggested treatment.
