Medical Conditions - Post Extraction Instructions

After getting your tooth extracted, it is important to follow post-extraction instruction given by your dentist, as it promotes healing, reduces post extraction swelling, and prevents dry socket. Some of the common post-extraction instructions include keeping the gauze in place for an hour, placing a cold compress on the face near the extraction site, avoid drinking hot beverages, do not spit, do not drink water or juice with a straw, and avoid rinsing your mouth.
