Medical Conditions - Precautions While Flying

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is mandatory to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and sanitize the hands frequently with a sanitizer all the time during a flight. Also, long hours of sitting without leg movements can cause deep vein thrombosis in pregnant women, lactating mothers, women taking contraceptive pills, people with obesity, varicose veins, and leg operation. Hence frequent leg movements and stretching must be done. Avoid drinking carbonated drinks. Pregnant women can choose the second trimester for air travel. Frequently drink water and practice Valsalva maneuver to relieve ear blocks.
