Skin types are mostly classified into four types; oily, dry, normal, or combination. The most common skin type is normal skin characterized by a clear appearance. Dry skin is characterized by irritable and tight skin that mostly appears flaky. Oversecretion of sebum results in oily skin. Combination skin is characterized by more than one type of facial skin.
