Sound in the ear or tinnitus is the sound heard in the ear but not from the external source. Ear injury, circulatory disorders, age-related ear problems, ear infections, etc., are the cause of tinnitus. Buzzing, roaring, clicking, hitting, etc., are the noises heard in tinnitus. Treatment includes the removal of ear wax and treating the underlying condition.
