Medical Conditions - Synovial Joint

Synovial joints are a type of joint that has a joint cavity with synovial fluid within. The synovial fluid is viscous in nature. Two bones meet within this joint cavity, and their surfaces are lined by articular cartilage. Based on their type of movements, synovial joints are classified as hinge, saddle, planar, condyloid, pivot, and ball and socket joint.
