Medical Conditions - Synovial Sarcoma

The soft tissues around joints, such as those in the arms, legs, and feet, are primarily affected by synovial sarcoma, a rare and aggressive kind of soft tissue cancer. Despite the fact that it can afflict people of any age, this malignancy typically affects teens and young adults. A lump or swelling in the affected area without any discomfort is a common early sign of synovial sarcoma. Surgery to remove the tumor is often followed by radiation therapy and chemotherapy to kill any cancer cells that may still be present.
