Tazarotene is used in various skin conditions like psoriasis, acne, wrinkles, blemishes, etc. It is a topical retinoid cream contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women and those trying to conceive as it may harm the fetus (also future fetus). Side effects include itching, swelling, pain, discoloration, rash, flakiness, peeling skin, etc. Avage, Tazorac, and Fabior are some brands of Tazarotene.
