A universal donor blood group is that blood group that can be used during an emergency. In general O negative blood group is regarded as a universal group. O negative blood group does not have any antigen and rhesus (Rh) factor. As a result, such blood group does not react with people of other blood groups. That is why, it is known as the universal donor blood group.
